This project is an American Legion art contest for 5th grade students that focuses on anti-drug issues.
These are the rules and guidelines posted for the contest.
HERE is a website that can give you information to help you make the right decisions when dealing with drug use. Take a tour of the site and watch some of the videos or read some of the interesting facts about illegal drug use.
DAY 1- Intro
After reading over the rules sheet and looking at the website, you may begin working on sketches for your poster. Today is a sketch/brainstorm day, so use today to work on a few ideas. Next week we will begin the final piece on the 1/4 sheet of poster board.
Day 2-4- Project
For the next three days, you will be able to work on your project. Your piece must be on the provided piece of poster board. YOU ONLY GET 1 PIECE OF POSTER BOARD.
